The Great Escape

Although she hasn't been out in a while, Patra continues to have fans, many of whom like myself, really wanted to hear some new material from her. As an artist, I think she can be brilliant. However, these tracks aren't reflective of her talent. With the right material, she could definitely recapture the appeal which made her a star. Although there are a few more prominent female dancehall artists, none of them possess the crossover appeal that Patra has. Her previous producers such as Salaam Remi and Tony Kelly have gone on to produce Amy Winehouse and Seal Paul, among many others. Whatever her future holds, I hope that she is happy and can continue to derive peace and fulfillment in whatever creative outlet she chooses.

Okay.. 2 good tracks and that's about it: 10) Love the Way You Look/Make Me Wet and 2) Morning Ride.. She needs to stay hardcore and nasty as that's what she does best, not much of a talent but need I say more?
