This band absolutely sets themself apart from the pack! I hope they stay in the vein they are in cause it’s so quenching! The song “Alone” is a straight jam. I’m extremely hard on music, being somewhat of a musician, but Kody West and his crew got my dime and will continue to get it. Well done!

I first caught this kid at a fair in Montgomery Texas, and he played with such joy it was spectacular to watch. He had just released Green moving from Higher Ground’s Country to Southern Rock, and this is a transition to...you know what? Screw labels. This is Kody West. He is what he is, and what he is is one of the most amazing talents out there. Do yourself a favor: enjoy his entire catalog, don’t label him, and definitely catch him live. So few performers can stand up to their studio work live. This kid blows the studio up when he’s on stage, and that’s a rare pleasure in the age of over-engineered productions. Keep doing your thing man, you’re awesome.

Great song! Such a relevant artist at a time when music needs great songs and great songwriting.
