ERYS (Deluxe)

Most songs were paring but I feel like he had more pressure making this album because he had to make sure that he lived up to the expectations of syre. All in all I’d say the slow songs ruined the album, he should’ve sticker with rap/trap

I love how this album is a rollercoaster. “B” was a great build up and then “I” just set the tone for the rest of the album. Jaden does a good job of impersonating the other personality that is the polar opposite of “SYRE”. “SYRE” is more of boy that’s in love and love songs and more emotional, then “ERYS” is the aggressive Love is out the window type of character. Straight rapping. And he utilizes a different voice pitch as ERYS. I’m my opinion, the strongest moments and best songs on here was “P I N K”, “Got It”, “Summertime in Paris “, “Somebody Else”(Deluxe album version), “On my Own” and “Chateau”. Also what I noticed about this album is that although ERYS is clearly the ruthless opposite of SYRE, ERYS’s soft spots start to seep through throughout the album , when he starts to sing about this girl he misses in the track “K” is a pure example of this, another example is the track “Summertime in Paris “ and “Again” (featuring the alter ego, SYRE).

No need for an explanation

Jaden has a gift the way he’s able to convey stories across his art. If you haven’t heard his first album, SYRE that’s definitely something you’d wanna listen to first. Back to ERYS, it continues from the side of ERYS and he has a way with words. His flow is delivered perfectly and he definitely takes rap to a new level. I’ve listened to it hundreds of times and each time I find a new line to pick apart or a different reference. It’s poetic genius. I’m excited to see what’s next!

I think he’s a musical prodigy tbh. Love this album so much it gives me hope for the future of music.
