  • Best voice of her generation

Her singing on this album makes me think of styles like Etta James or Linda Ronstadt. She can cross genre with the best of them. I would love to hear her try Country. There's no faulting her voice but sometimes I wish she could pick better songs to sing.

The Debut is a phenomenal album! I've been a fan of Jackie since her days on AGT and admittedly love her classical style better than her pop. Because she said in an interview in April 2018 that this album was completely different than anything she's done before, I was nervous about this album. I didn't want different from her. Having said that, every song on this album is great. If A Million Dreams was released as a single and got radio airplay, it could be her breakout hit. I find it interesting how iTunes classifies her as "pop" when she has yet to release a pop album, and who knows if she ever intends to release one.
  • Jackie is great but music too loud

I am a big Jackie fan. Her voice is a gift from God, however the music is much too loud Why? Speaking for myself, I want to hear Jackie not some pumped up orchestra that vastly diminishes her .
  • Love the new sound

Jackie is a super talented singer no matter what she sings but I have to say, I enjoy her more current sound over her classical voice. The chest voice she uses in tracks like A Million Dreams and She Used to Be Mine sounds amazing. I would definitely buy every album she makes with this sound. I know others appreciate her classical sound more and that’s great because it gives Jackie more flexibility and options than most artists have when they stick to one style of music. Bravo and well done!
  • Maturity

Jackie's voice has matured to a beautiful level that allows her to transcend beyond her previous releases. While i mostly enjoy her operatic selections, I must admit this album that mixes genres allows her to explore the range and depth of her talent. I only caution Jackie not to be lured into singing future duets with popular artists that have no business sharing a stage with a classical artist. Jackie your voice and album are beautiful.
  • Less classical, more pop

I have been listening to Jackie's music since she was 10. This album isn't terrible but the style is not my favorite. I think that Jackie's voice is much stronger when she sings opera/classical instead of pop. Please Jackie, don't pull a Charlotte Church!

Jackie is spreading her wings. I love how she is trying new paths and succeeding. I can listen to her music all day. Her delivery is extraordinary and even better than the original version.

I have hesitated to download Jackie Evancho over the years. In this album, I found the fulln(loud) orchestra sometimes diminishing her singing. I did download a few songs.
