I don’t believe that I have ever heard an artist butcher and trash their own song before but stinky Sting doesn’t it to the extreme with this absolutely horrid rendition of Fields of Gold. That was enough, too much, didn’t subject myself to the rest of the album. The original Fields of Gold is my absolute favorite song of all time, has been for almost 30 years. I’ll try not to let this travesty ruin it for me.
