I get it Apollo Brown wanted to experiment. It looks like he gave the rah-rah beats and the heavy drums a rest (for the most part). I’m not saying the beats are terrible, because they’re not. I just wish Apollo maybe would have experimented with 2 or 3 of the cuts and not the entire album. By the way I’m saying this having Apollo as one of the top 5 producers right now. One last thing I love the old school vinyl record static sound but I think at times Apollo overkills it. I mean you hear it on every song. As far as Planet Asia, well he spits fire as always. Be it about the rap game, poverty, drugs, weed, spirituality, the ghetto, mortality, wealth, growing old, those who have passed on, etc. Planet is furious as ever I just wish Apollo would have matched him with the beats.

If you know ANYTHING about Apollo Brown or Planet Asia then you already know...it's EXACTLY what you imagine. No drums and just flame thrower rhymes and emotion with a track 14 appearance by Guilty Simpson being INCREDIBLE Icing on a GREAT CAKE!

This is real. Apollo Brown's beats are poignant & minimal here like his breathtaking work on the 12 Reasons remix. Turn it up. Precisely detailed production. No one makes static an instrument like Apollo. Planet Asia right up there with OC & Skyzoo as far as best MC's on Brown's beats. Vinnie Paz album please. Willie the Kid killed his verse too.
