I deliberately avoided watching any of the fan vids from Greyson's recent live performances of this song so I wouln't spoil it for myself. I'm glad I did. I was hoping he would release it as an acoustic version. Even better, it is a single-take cut of Greyson's vocals and instrumental performance: a rarity in music today. Deleberately NOT concealing the sound of the pedals and the squeaky seat is brilliant, giving it the feel of a live intimate performance. There are only a handful of artists in modern music of whom it is said that their performances feel as if they are singing directly and personally to YOU. This song has that feel for me. I dare say that Greyson has, once again, matured as an artist by leaps and bounds with thi release.

I started crying less than 30 seconds into the song. The lyrics covey such a deep and personal message. Every lyric, note change, melody is just spot on. I've been a fan of Greyson for a while now and he's never failed to create an exceptional track
