The Dream Concert: Live from the Great Pyramids of Egypt

I went to go see the concert and it was amazing, listening to it in the album reminded me of what an incredible night I had experienced

This album may be filled with mostly old stuff that Yanni did; but I think it's these old yet timeless works, and the style of these works, are what made Yanni great in the first place. His Live At El Morro album was awesome, but I feel that the music lacked the classical-world style that Yanni is known for. It was a step into a different, maybe even uncomfortable, direction, and I think it's good, maybe even healthy, for artists to experiment and deviate a little bit. But this album maybe could be considered a "break", if you will, for Yanni -- a return to form and possibly a re-inspiration -- and maybe (hopefully) from here on we can look forward to new material from him. But if this would be the last album (hopefully not) that Yanni puts out, then at least he went out with a bang -- doing what he knows and loves best.

The same songs in every concert....I think it is a good time for retirement

There is only one song on this album that was not on Yanni's previous live albums. I've been a fan for a long time, but am disappointed with Yanni's repeated recycling of the same old songs. His live performances are great -- but how many times can you release essentially the same live album?

He doesn't have anything new... I feel bored from the first song, and didn't even want to finish listening to most of the pieces... New album, old songs, new album, old songs, new album, old songs... Again and again....

Same songs over & over, and over & over. New album, same songs.

Watched this on PBS, at first was very excited to buy the album…until it started sounding like an over done disco dance album. I pre ordered, but sure wish I hadn’t.

Can't wait to hear this album in full! Yanni is a amazing composer and I absolutely loved seeing him live! Thanks Yanni for another album. It is literally music to my ears!
