Yup! You read it right! Twiztid took their biggest career mistake, rolled it in crap and mixed it like they've never mixed a project before. Now you can buy their most horrible release ever TWICE just for sarcastic purposes.

Familiar and Respirator. There is a reason that theses two songs were released first: 1 - They are without a doubt the best songs on the album. 2- Because they know theses two songs were the two best songs on the album, they were released first giving you a false sense of what the album will be like...tricking you into either buying it on day 1 no questions asked or pre-ordering it..knowing that once its bought, they got your money and you cant do anything about it. I love twiztid. Their music and style are second to none. All of their other albums are great. Some songs are hit and miss, however this remix album is no better than the original. Waaaaaaaaay back in the day when Mutant was released, we were told it was going to be the rock and roll side of the spectrum...well, it kinda was but not really what we were hoping for. Now we have the Rock and Roll that we wanted, but it doesnt really "fit" with the lyrics and it just sounds forced. Maybe if the original melodies were what we have here, the lyrics would have been adjusted to flow and fit with the songs.

This album took a few listens to grow on me, after all I've been listening to the original for nearly 11 years, but it's really well done. This is what I imagined the Black Majik project would've turned out if they would've gone through with it, none the less the remixes give this album a whole different energy, & bring it life once again.

At the time of this review, all that we have seen is the 2 pre-order tracks. Both sound absolutly amazing, so I have high hopes for this new edition of "Mutant". Fan of the original, but it sounds like Twiztid is gonna do what they should have done with this project. Mad hyped.
