Honestly. Taking Knife Party seriously is like praying to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I'm going to put the genres next to the songs too because I can't even count how many times I saw people mention trap when attempting to review this EP. Learn what you're talking about before you just lash out some nonsense. PLUR Police - (Electro House) The song is a pure pun mocking modern EDM and what it has become. Listen to what Rob says in the Zane Lowe interview when they dropped this. Good production but pretty plain and boring song throughout. Parliament Funk - (Electro House) This is the classic KP we all know and love but what should really be noticed is Rob and Gareth showing how great they've gotten with their production. Definitely one of the two gems on the album. Kraken (Electro House) - Definitely my least favorite on the EP. Personally the song is way too bland and boring. I like the vocal edits and the production is good though. Jauz's Remix (Dubstep) - The other gem on the EP, Jauz blows the doors opened with this one. Every time I hear this one cranked on a good system it gets me headbanging and I honest to god get goosebumps sometimes. Great production on Jauz's behalf. Overall, I think the EP is pretty good. Sure we have two pretty bland songs but the gems make up for them. It's definitely the weakest link in KP's catalog but it's still not THAT bad of a project. Artists grow and evolve and I'm extremely happy they aren't making Centipede over and over (even though it is of course a banger). I would suggest Zomboy if you want the same ol same ol every time (not bashing him either, I love his stuff). They're trying to broaden their horizon and break away from what they were doing and continue on. Exact same with Sonny and his production. I love the way he's gone and the way he's going and the same goes for KP. Can't wait to hear what's next.
  • Knife Party should not be mixing trap

I mean I like trap and all, but this isn't that good. Knife party should go back to what they were good at. I personally love their old song Internet Friends.

I didn't like this EP at first. It took time to adjust too. I started listening to Knife Party around the Haunted House years. Their sound has definetly changed since then from hard to a more electric crisp sound. I can completely understand why the original fans don't like this. However me personally, I love this change in sound and it leads to new hopefully more epic things to come in the future.

What happened to the original Knife Party? They used to literally be one of my favorite artists, but now they're just making the same generic trash everyone else is... Please come back...

I am in love with this EP. Can't wait to see what is next. Nobody now how to build a song quite like they do.

This is the first Knife Party album that's just bad. It's boring and feels empty.
