I’ve been a huge JJ Heller fan for years. I was thrilled since hearing she was releasing a new album. I’ll be honest…this is not one of my favorite albums. I feel like many of the songs were more “pop” than her previous albums…less depth too. I get this is contrary to other reviews. one exception is “Silence”, in my opinion it is the best song on the album. Best of luck! Looking forward to your next project!

I've loved JJ Heller for what seems like forever and my love continues to grow. Great melodies and lyrics. I already have had songs stuck in my head and I don't even mind since they are so positive and lovely.

There are several personal songs that melt my heart. I have to fight back tears while listening to several of the songs, especially “Let Down Your Guard,” “Meant to Be,” “Father-Daughter Dance,” “Holy Ground,” “Daylight” and “Sound of a Living Heart.” The new worshipful songs “The Well,” “Fully Known," and “Scarlet Thread.” are not to be missed. If you liked the recent “gourmet” worshipful albums by Audrey Assad and Ellie Holcomb, then you must pick up Sound of a Living Heart by JJ Heller. JJ's remarkable singing voice and her interesting music and lyrics are truly captivating. What's especially cool about this album is how JJ invites listeners into her life by sharing what's on her heart and reflecting on life and faith issues with every single note. This album is JJ Heller’s crowning achievement. It is flawless and you’ll hang on every word she emotionally sings.

Another amazing album by JJ and Dave! I own them all, and am so happy to add another to my everyday playlist. My kids and I have them all memorized. It gives me so much joy to hear my 9, 10, 11 and 12 year olds singing along and enjoying their music as much as I do!
If you ever get a chance to see them in concert, do it. It was a highlight of our summer to get to see them in Colorado this summer!

I love all of JJ's music but I am loving this new sound. Anything she writes is golden. Her lyrics and music have changed lives. Her unique and modern sound make her my favorite artist. Her love for God grabs my heart with every song. Love this album!
