    I was just leaving for boarding school when this series came on in the 1960's as a result I missed most of it; thanks to iTunes I have fully caught up with Season 5; now what about the rest????

    I LOVE THE AVENGERS! It’s my favorite show. It’s wonderful and quirky and so British! Peel and Steed make quite the dashing duo, the humor is witty, the plots creative, and the villains inspired. Can you get the other Emma Peel years? I would buy them in a heartbeat. I would argue the black and white Diana Rigg seasons are even better.

    Few things can compare with the wit and charm of the Avengers, and in particular the Diana Rigg years. The scene's in the British countryside from the perspective of the Lotus and the Bentley are icing on the cake.
