Emmy winner Patricia Arquette stars for a fifth season as an extraordinary young wife and mother who, since childhood, has struggled to make sense of her dreams and visions of dead people. This season, Allison and her family’s world begins to return to normalcy, now that both of the Dubois are employed and her abilities are publicly known. With Manuel Devalos’ re-election to the D.A.’s office, Allison has returned as a part-time consultant, using her psychic abilities to solve violent and horrifying crimes that baffle Phoenix police and others within the criminal justice system. Jake Weber stars as Allison's supportive husband Joe, who is launching his own scientific engineering company. Sofia and Maria Lark star as Ariel and Bridget, the two eldest Dubois children, both of whom share their mother’s abilities to varying, expanding degrees. David Cubitt stars as Detective Lee Scanlon, Allison’s longtime ally in the local police department, who will soon confront some surprising personal and professional challenges.
