Real World Road Rules Challenge: The Island

Description

This season on The Challenge, 20 competitors are abandoned on a deserted island near the coast of Panama, where their living conditions are rustic and there's only a limited amount of food and sparse accommodations. Just surviving will be a challenge unto itself. Those who can handle life on The Island will be rewarded with a chance at claiming a $300,000 treasure, which is buried on a smaller island in the distance. The goal for the players this season is to build seaworthy crafts that will transport them to this island to find the loot. Every few days, there will be air drops which deliver vital supplies as well as the materials needed to construct two boats, which the competitors will be building over the course of The Challenge to get them to the treasure.

I'm a huge challenge fan, but this one is one of the worst challenges ever. There was too much sitting around and complaining. Even the face offs weren't all that exciting. Hopefully the next one will be much better.

I love the challenges, and this show is great. but compared to the other challenges it's definitely one of the weaker ones. cast wise it was pretty good, i mean i would've liked to have seen the top competitors like ct and evan, but this cast was fine. my biggest problem is that they only have one faceoff in the hour show...the gauntlet was an hour and it contained 2 gauntlet challenges, if they wanted to make the show an hour i would have liked to seen more of the actual challenges. it also is annoying how weak players can succeed, like paula for example, just because of the alliance. i would have liked to seen more dependence on physical strength and skill then just who you talk to on the island but its still a good show with strong points- the faceoffs are entertaining, the drama's crazy, and it's a solid cast...also the food scarcity was an interesting twist so overall its a good show and a solid 4 stars, it just can't compare to the genius of the past challenges

Wow I didn't realize that they had this up already! I thought we would have to wait for the end of the season. I love the Island! I can't wait for the rest of the episodes.
