    This show is a breath of fresh air in a genre where everything has gone cliche and dull. Yes, there are tropes used here, but the characters and the storytelling make this show so compelling! I find myself on an emotional journey with each episode and that makes the terror so much more satisfying. Hope this show gets a third season. It’d be a shame to lose something that’s actually good.

    Ever since I saw the original exorcist I scared the living hell out of me. So when FOX said they were creating a TV series I was a little skeptical. FOX did not disappoint! This show has great characters, terrifying demons and not just scares with demons but it also has psychological horror which to me is the best kind. Plus there is a plot twist that will knock you out of your seat! If your looking for a horror series I highly recommend this one!

    Despite some genuinely scary moments,they are buried under uneven plotting and acting. I stopped watching after three episodes because of how many cheap scares their are.

    This re-imagining of the origanal movie and book is fantastic.The producers(show runner-Jeremy Slater),writers & directors have done a fantastic job, taking a well known idea and freshening the story for a modern audience.The entire cast is outstanding in every way,especially the two leads,Ben Daniels(Father Marcus) & Alfonso Herrera(Father Tomas).Special mention also goes to Geena Davis and Alan Ruck both of whom have had great careers.Hope this show will not be forgotten at awards time.Kudos!!!

    Absolutely brilliant. Never seen a story done quite like this before. A sequel to the 1973 movie "The Exorcist" Characters are phenomenal Acting is extraordinary for roles such as these, being possessed by demons & whatnot Anyway words can't describe its brilliance Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
