This movie is much better than the reviews suggest. I enjoyed it.

I liked this movie a lot. The plot was fun, the characters were interesting and the cinematography was awesome. It's very entertaining. The ending could have been a little less predictable with some follow up but other than that definitely a rental.

Not as bad as some reviews would have you think. Not an incredible film but good enough to rent. I enjoyed it.

I wanted to see this movie because of its all around cast of heavy hitters. Charlie Hunnam shows his strength in playing a tough guy with a soft side. Eric Banna shows his true talents as being a man of hateful means, but sees children as innocents. The twisted relationship between Eric Bana's character and Olivia Wilde's character gives explanation to why they are the way they are. This movie falls short for many reasons though. The relationship between the police chiefs daughter and him, doesn't delve deep enough and is unanswered in the end. The love story between Charlie Hunnam and Olivia's character is a too good to be true kind of story. No one falls in love over night, its a little too euphoric for this dark of movie. The ending should have not ended there, it should have the aftermath in there.

A serendipitous confluence of events - and one cold blooded killer - bring several family conflicts to dramatic climax with plenty of action keeping things lively. Forget the reviews - check this one out.

Terrible script. Ridiculous dialogue. One dimensional characters. Don't bother.

I don't know much but I know this.. If when you watch a movie you go into it with expectations its going to disappoint… This movie is great. Entertaining and thrilling like a thriller should be. There are lots of things about this movie that are unique. Yes there is snow and there is violence but there is also a very good story! What do you expect to see when you choose a thriller with violence in the NE in the middle of winter?. I don't usually write reviews but due to the bad reviews for this movie I thought it was deserving… Well worth five bucks to rent it.
