Description

Set in a world where toys have a life of their own when people are not present, Toy Story takes moviegoers on a fantastic fun-filled journey, viewed mostly through the eyes of two rival toys - Woody (Tom Hanks), a pull-string talking cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), a superhero space action-figure. The comically-mismatched duo eventually learn to put aside their differences when circumstances separate them from their owner, Andy, and they find themselves on a hilarious adventure-filled mission where the only way they can survive is to form an uneasy alliance. Toy Story was the first full-length motion picture to be created entirely through the use of computer animation.

This Movie Is A Classic. I Now Know Every Word To It And Can Recap The Whole Movie In Under 1 Minute. This Movie And It’s Sequels Are Just Some Of Those Movies That You Can Watch Over And Over And Over Again And Never Get Tired Of. Pixar Really Did Go To Infinity And Beyond.
  • Toy Story Theory, Part 1

I just came up with a theory that the first three movies are about Disney and Pixar’s relationship through three decades. Toy Story 1 being about the ‘90s, Toy Story 2 about the ‘00s, and Toy Story 3 about the ‘10s. 1994 In the beginning of the movie, Andy is seen playing with Woody. Woody represents Disney, and Andy represents the audience who fell in love with Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and, most recently, The Lion King. 1995 After 58 years of putting out traditionally-animated classics, along comes Pixar, in the form of Buzz. With Buzz’s arrival, Woody becomes obsolete. 1996 Although Disney tried to continue doing things the old-fashioned way, their next two feature films, Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, did not do as well critically or commercially. Likewise, Andy began playing with Buzz more than Woody. Most of Toy Story’s profits went to Disney, which was not good for Pixar. This is represented by Buzz getting knocked out the window. 1998 After a long adventure, Woody and Buzz realized that the only way to survive was by becoming friends. Likewise, Disney and Pixar made a distribution deal for five original films and a sequel - A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Cars. Go to Toy Story 2 for Part 2 of the theory!

I rented the movie and it downloaded. However, the movie won’t play. It says that I don’t have access to it or the movie isn’t available anymore. I wish it would have told me that before taking my money :/

What’s to say this the best animated film ever made! It even kicked off its own franchise ,which people thought would be impossible! They were proven because even today this franchise is still going strong! Not even by an animated franchise standpoint, but maybe even up with “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter”and “Lord of the Rings”! I’m not kidding it’s just that good! Movie franchises usually die off in like 7-10 years even less than that! It’s rare for a franchise like Star Wars and Toy Story to be around for 20-30 years but it’s happened! Toy Story still going strong today with the new sequel is impressive and very rare! I’m so glad I grew with Toy Story ,and I can’t wait to see “Toy Story 4” !
