Bad Candy wants desperately to be the next big Halloween season anthology movie. Unfortunately, there is a lot that just made it a “boring” viewing experience. There’s no sense of Halloween magic/joy, its stories didn’t really tie together in a satisfying way, it had a lot of bad acting, it had a lot of bad visual effects, it didn’t establish its own lore or keep to the lore it did create, and it had some very amateurish cinematography with a lot of YouTube style LOG color profile shots and unconvincing “day for night” segments.

Nothing amazing, but pretty entertaining. Some bits are better than others.

I genuinely enjoyed this flick and just in time for Halloween. Zach Galligan and Corey Taylor give it that nostalgia feel too! Give it a shot you won't be disappointed

Spooky Szn is back baby. These stories are actually pretty scary, and they already had me at Corey Taylor (Slipknot) and Zach Galligan (Gremlins). This one's going into the annual rotation.

After the first watch I've decided this movie is now a Halloween tradition for the rest of my unnatural life. The perfect blend of dark comedy and absolute terror, watching this film was a roller coaster. Edge of my seat for most of it, with an incredible pay off, this film was beautifully shot with every frame a painting. The story and writing was top notch in regards to the usual fare, with this project almost coming off as a anthology, but it transcends the concept as we watch people's lives weave into a tapestry of karma. The town of New Salem frightens me, but I want to go back. Buy the film, it's worth owning forever.

The perfect Halloween movie. Lots of gore and Corey Taylor from Slipknot is in it which is rad. Definitely check it out. Lots of scares.
  • Halloween & Horror? It's a vibe.

Love well done anthologies, love the halloween season. This movie has a serious vibe and aesthetic to it that I just love. Right down to Chilly Billy which if you know, you know.
