Good concept completely ruined by scenario full of holes and cheesy acting.

I didn't read the book so I don't know if it was a boring and without an iota of suspense or likable characters as this movie was.

Umm it’s okay. Not worth 7 dollars but if you are desperate for a thriller and don’t have a streaming service sure watch this movie.

I am a big fan of JDM and had to see this movie. I am into criminal minds, CSI and others in this genre. It is a slow burn story with a lot of emotion to. It was done really good and had me engaged from start to finish. It’s not a high energy movie like the taken movies but it’s not suppose to be. I am glad I rented it and actually wish I would have saved money and bought it instead now. I would watch this again
  • Seeming good movie, but actually pretty bad

I had eagerly anticipated watching this movie since it was finished filming. However, after finally getting to see it, I wasn’t pleased. It was kinda boring, depressing (with awfully sad and dull music), and the acting wasn’t great. And I’m a fan of JDM, but this film didn’t do him justice. The ending was the only part of the film that was even a little bit entertaining, but overall, the movie lacked legitimate appeal. It basically consisted of more graphic and gross imagery and less interesting story. At first this movie appears like it may be comparable to Taken, but some movies just can’t be surpassed. It’s funny because, by the end of the movie (funeral scene), JDM looks so much better than the beginning of the film. He’s a good looking guy when he cleans up, don’t understand why his beard had to be so long in this one, makes him look older.
