Description

Despite her harsh surroundings, the precocious and ebullient Moonee has no trouble making each day a celebration of life, her endless afternoons overflowing with mischief and grand adventure as she and her ragtag playmates—including Jancey, a new arrival to the area who quickly becomes Moonee’s best friend—fearlessly explore the utterly unique world into which they’ve been thrown. Unbeknownst to Moonee, however, her delicate fantasy is supported by the toil and sacrifice of Halley, who is forced to explore increasingly dangerous possibilities in order to provide for her daughter.

Don't listen to the haters, this is such a real, touching movie. You really get insight into the authenticity of the characters (which by the way the lead character is not even a professional actress.) Love the casting. The movie takes you through all the emotions and best of all there are no false beats. This movie is absolutely worth seeing.

It’s an incredible film. Very emotional and gritty and provocative. The acting is spot on; it’s crazy that this was the woman who portrayed Halley’s first acting job. I love the people calling it boring and begging for their 2 hours back. You can’t even appreciate the purpose of this film or what went into it but you desperately want your 2 hours back to do big things like cure cancer or split the atom, I’m sure. You guys stick with movies like The Hangover while the rest of us with brains and emotion can enjoy this movie.

When I first saw “The Florida Project”, I was heavily inspired. I loved the fact that this film has something to on how life can be struggling sometimes. This film especially Brooklyn Prince has been more than just amazing, brilliant, and powerful. I loved it nonstop. I saw it yesterday on Amazon Prime Video. The first 10 minutes were off to a good start, but throughout the film, it was an inspiring masterpiece. From this moment on, “The Florida Project” is now my #1 favorite movie of all time.

I like action flicks. I feel like this was the best action flick I've ever seen. One for the college film classes. My attention was held throughout. Makes Truffaut look deaf. Aid for Mothers with Dependent children wasn't a bad program. Now that America has become great again, maybe we are ready for a Great Society again. This movie is more than that though. Cindarella's castle lodging is by invitation only in the magic kingdom. This old worn-out dude loves this movie.
