I recommend my friends watch Into the Bottle first and then watch this if they want more. Great film for the wine enthusiast or those interested in learning more about wine.

I gave the first SOMM movie 5 stars. But this follow-up is the best sequal I’ve seen since Secret of the Ooze!

This was a great sequel from their first documentary about wine and sommeliers! They upped their game and it’s very much appreciated; I tell all my friends about these films!
Entertaining way to give wine some background.

As a low level wine consumer, this caused me to crack a bottle of wine and enjoy.

This documentary is nothing like Somm: it is uninteresting and tedious. If these people love wine so much, shouldn't they be enthusiastic about it? Excited to share their knowledge? I rent quite a few documentaries and watch every one through to the end, even ones for some reason I find lacking, but this one became a sedative for me barely fifteen minutes in. Monotone narration. Monotone experts. Deadpan expressions. I had no qualms that I fell asleep or let it expire without having watched it.
Amazing!

One of the most entertaining docs I've seen in a long time. Must see.

What an amazing documentary. You got to know the unusual group of candidates and root for them to succeed. Very, very well done and a great watch.

Incredible doc taking you on the journey of wine from harvest to the bottle. Inspiring and thoughtfully done. Makes me want to get better as I continue my journey with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Thank you guys for the great work!
Biased…very biased.

A good documentary from a “production” point of view, and yes some nice facts and expositions…but… :
How can you talk about history of wine and vine and not mention ITALY almost at all ??? I mean…it’s like the main winemaking country in the entire world…more than France. NO Spain either ? Not even a couple of minutes ??
Also…the wineries represented are evidently wineries that have political and financial connections.
I am in the industry…and honestly, this is like the 1st documentary was…a paid commercial.
