Ok, so, if anyone has seen the Forest (spelled “Forrest”, but I’ll get to that later ;D) music video on their channel, you’ll notice that Tyjo is in a city/town. In the Ride music video, he’s in a forest. SO, WHAT IF, FOREST AND RIDE HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER?! Another little something I found is when they lift their hands up, hence the lyrics from Forest “Hands held higher”.
As for how they spelled Forest “Forrest”, if you’ve read the fanfic you might know where I’m coming from. For those who haven’t read it, basically Josh is a figment of Tyler’s imagination he made to help him get through his darkest hours. (Sorry if I’m kinda screwing the details up I kinda forgot 😅) Tyler usually goes into a forest with Josh so they can hang out together and Tyler built a treehouse in that forest. A while later, I think, (you might need to read it yourself but BE WARNED, it’s slightly inappropriate), Tyler sets fire to his treehouse with his either near it or in it and he dies with the house (hence “And for some reason I smell gas on my hands”). He’s been telling everyone that Josh is really real but no one has believed him, and Josh shows up at Tyler’s funeral.
So, that is one or the reason why Tyler names it “Forrest” (“For rest”)

WOW, THAT IS AMAZING! I mean, it's a tiny little bit cheesy when Tyler says he's been thinking too much for the FIRST time, but everything else is amazing! my life would be boring without Twenty One Pilots, so I thank Tyler Robert Joseph and Joshua William Dun very much! I don't know how many times I've watched this, 100? 1,000? 1,0000? who knows. but it's good. I like it when they darkly happily put their hands in the air and wave them, and how Tyler Looks when he says "yeah I think about the end just way too much, but it's fun to fantasize. oh, and the very end. Josh, I'm gonna need you to teach me the rest of the song on the drums, I know most of it, but it's a little hard to tell what you do on the fills. LONG LIVE T.O.P.
