Each song reminds me of the pulp comics I used to read as a kid - telling great stories along the way. The simple melodies executed perfectly, set the hook early, and never let go. I find myself listening to this album several times a day from time to time, and I still come back to it wanting a little more each time. Each listen brings a new note or chord that I swear wasn't there before. Or was it?
