When this album came out I thought it might be their last and I’m so glad it wasn’t. Each album is unique in its own right but is all Beautifully Garbage. I first listened to the album in 2012 and felt myself float away during tracks like Sugar and Not Your Kind Of People. I discovered the deluxe soon after and it only reinforced just how amazing this album is and how significant Garbage is. This Album is pure seductive sugar. All of the soul, love and grit that garbage has produced in the past 3 decades is harvested into this album like a fine aged whiskey.

There are very (very) few bands that can endure a 20 year carreer sounding like no one else and still being able to produce a record that sounds new and fresh.. You can still recognize Garbage, you can hear that they've grown, and you can still sing out loud, enjoy the lyrics and even bang your head a bit.

Garbage is garbage because they are a true band. Shirley Manson is amazing but the people behind her make the sound what it is too. You can't say that for other so called bands.
If this is not their best album, it is their most complete and even one. And that can't be said of their last two efforts which are fantastic but are uneven. From the word go this is a not stop joy ride of heavy beats and Shirley pushing the lyrics to the limit. You will not be able to put this album down, thus don't even think about cherry picking here. At the end you will just want more.
Not one song is a throwaway and they all complement each other. Simply amazing.
