  • Perfect emo/indie pop

This came from a really good time in the indie scene, this record is really excellently done. Death Cab really nailed the emo vibe pretty early in their career, while spinning some catchy and smartly written tunes.

We Have the Facts has a more raw feel to it, but it is some of the best batch of songs Death Cab has produced. It opens up with "Title Track," which is one of my personal favs off the album, and continues to progress nicely throughout the entire album. I suggest this album to fans of fantastic indie rock.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything Aaron19BEE wrote in his review, this is a brilliant concept album. This is my favorite album of all time. Makes me nostalgic for a time I barely remember, for a love I never had. I highly recommend checking out "Lowell, MA" "405" "Company Calls" and "The Employment Pages." I recommend listening to the whole album through though, hard to cherry pick!

How is it that such simple guitar work can sound like an orchestra to my ears. Ben Gibbard is the songwriter of a generation.
  • One of most intelligent concept albums ever written

This album tells a story. This album is about hearbreak, fear, being alone, falling in love, frustration, and desperation. How all of these ideas can be captured within an hour of music is amazing. Sadly, We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes is one of Death Cab's least known albums because it was one of their earlier works. This album is mature and I invite anyone reading this to give it a sincere try. If you don't have time to listen to the whole thing, at least try "Title Track", "For What Reason", "Little Fury Bugs", "Company Calls",and "Company Calls Epilogue".
