This album is their worst. Four good songs, and only 2 of them are actually good. The other 2 are just good in comparison to the rest of the album.

The Beastie Boys have created some of rap's finest and most innovative albums. On their final album the Beastie Boys continued to push forwards rather than revisit old ground. Despite the long process to release this album, they triumphed with releasing something great. Thank you Beastie Boys for all of the great music you've shared with us.

When I listen to this album now, it makes me feel a great sadness. Ever since my father introduced me to the Beastie Boys, they grew on me and their music made me feel as if I knew them. They all seem like very kind individuals. Upon hearing of MCA’s passing I was broken, such a kind group of individuals who made it from Brooklyn to the big stage. R.I.P

Now for those who don't really know Beastie Boys, this album would be a good album to listen to for the first time, especially with people who listen to the more electro-rap style. The Beasties definitely got onto the train as a majority of the other rappers have. Personally I think that it's not a bad album- the major points go to "Make Some Noise", "Here's A Little Something For Ya" and the teaming of Nas and Santigold- however their style of rap-rock was always the best.
