  • Hauntingly Rich and Beautiful Native American Music

"Chants and Dances of the Native Americans" is one of my favorite albums by Sacred Spirit. The strings are hauntingly beautiful and the cello blends astonishingly very well with both the traditional drumming and the Native voices. This arrangement of each song is superb. Each song is awesomely uplifting, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually. A beautiful blend of Native American music and nature sounds. This album touches the heart and the soul in a very deeply primal and etheric way. Wonderful Native American music combining traditional Native American music and instruments with new age music. The spirit of the Native Americans making this music is so captivating and peaceful.

This was first given to me on a CASSETTE some 20 years ago when I was a child by a very wonderful, wise, woman. After making many moves in life I lost the cassette (still have a cassette player), but I’m so glad to now have this readily available on my phone and computer to listen to whenever.

At last I remember buying this back in the day on CD and loved it then, unfortunately lost it (or someone took it from my car) and then I've searched for it for nearly 20 years! and now I see it here 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Needless to say I bought it straight away
  • Excellent “Production,” but . . .

This is an excellent “production,” best inspired by the original native melodies. The music was taken into a studio, and technically “reproduced” — very well. (Reminds me of B-Tribe.) It’s about as authentic Native American” as a disco victory party at “Little Bighorn.” In other words it’s an anachronism. If you expect authentic native music this is not it, but it’s pleasing entertainment.
