Licensing issue or something else? I have this album on CD but wouldn't mind having the remastered version too. What's up Apple?

Gerry was under appreciated. While you can make an argument that his later work was not as catchy or creative, you can't deny that his sound was sweet. Even though this is a very nostalgic sound that brings me back my youth, it really does hold up as a classic and unique sound today.

Don't get me wrong I like his songs, but I just want to listen to Baker Street for the drive. I don't know if this is a way to make more money or what. But this is getting annoying
  • Just buy the album, Not just Baker Street

It's a classic. Like the others who rated the album here, this artist seemed underrated. This is timeless piece of work that ages very well.

This album is comforting like a warm blanket and hot chocolate on a cold day. Gerry Rafferty's voice is pure silk and as an artist, he never truly got the recognition he deserved. Every song is just perfect for his angelic voice. Of all the music I own, and it's a lot, I swear this is my favorite Rest in Peace, Mr. Rafferty

They are trying to use his one good song to compensate for the quality of the rest of his music..

I can't think of a more beautifully arranged album. It does not have a bad song on it. Anyone complaining about having to pay for the whole album just to have Baker Street needs to have their head examined. This is a masterpiece, my dad had it on 8-track and just wore that puppy out! A strong addition to any serious music collection from a well respected artist.
