This was another opportunity for the Dead to grow and explore their complexity, and I think they succeeded immensely. I consider this album a landmark one for them, if not a masterpiece.

I love the studio version of Terrapin Station! It is one of their best studio recordings.

This has the best Grateful Dead song on it, Terrapin Station. I love that song!

Maybe the only way back from the "Dark Side of the Moon", or a rare autonomous vehicle for a band that never dies, unlocking wars like they are more out of fashion than wooden nickels, inspired me to adopt a set of red eared sliders abandoned in a rehabilitation center not made for turtles, named Bob and Bill, until it became apparent as they grew it was Bob and Willa, who upon release into the pools of a waterfall in Arcadia, only Bob looked back, as if to say, "thanks". Or maybe, "Finally!" May there be future generations enjoying the waterfall's pool, and many happy returns...

Terrapin Station is a good album, personally, I don't like the over-produced sound here. Estimated Prophet is one of the better songs, Dancin n The Streets is a cover, Passenger and Sunrise are sung by Donna Jean Godchaux, and Samson and Delilah is good except there is a much better live version on Dead Set. The best on here is of course the epic Terrapin Station. That song is one of Grateful Deads greatest songs put on studio records.
