Reviews

  • Didn’t think they could top Suburbia. They might have.

Suburbia was and is one of my favorite albums of the past 10 years. TGG is just as good, if not better. Maybe it’s the point in my life that makes it so relatable, but I think anyone can put on this album and find songs and lyrics that mean something to them. Thanks, TWY. Looking forward to more.

I can whole heartedly say that this is the best punk-rock album ever written. Written by Dan Campell. The dynamics of emotions rips through the soul like a glimmering blade. A blade made from nostalgia and the fear of failure. But fear not, this album will make you laugh, love, and feel the emotion of one roller coaster ride with a WW2 themed, a not so family friendly adventure. A risk worth taking. In the end we all just want to sell out our funeral. We all just want to know that we did with all we were given. TWY
  • I'll lay it out: best album ever

Depression is harsh. It's unfair and it tears you apart mentally. It could be from family problems, breakup, anxiety, school issues, social awkwardness, any factor that brings you down heavily, it'll be considered depression. And that's what this album speaks of. It tells you to admit your defeat, but will also tell get up and submit to self-worth and seek true happiness. This album succeeds to have a complex yet simple set of songs which are either soft (There, There) dark (The Devil In My Bloodstream) uplifting (We Could Die Like This) or even heavy in lyrics (I Just Want To Sell Out My Funeral) the last track which succeeds in bringing closure to the album and gives you a reminder that what you have, is enough help others. Bottom line is, you'll be tearing up and begin a journey called reminiscing.

I couldn't listen to pop punk at all until I heard this album. It's the best the band has recorded, not to say that their other albums aren't great as well. I've listened to this album through and through. At least one song from this album is played in my car every day. I can't get enough. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything about this album is perfect! The lyrics are amazing and the music is excellent. Soupy is, without a doubt, one of the best writers I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.
