I didn't buy it on itunes but I did buy a record and I must say, this album is great. I highly suggest that you go buy it.

I love this song. Funky, hypnotizing, and different than any of their other songs. RHCP should release their songs that didn't make it for every studio album, like "Over Funk" from Californication.
  • Not bad.

The Reggae-ish chorus isn't my favorite, and Flea could have changed the bass line at least a little bit during the 4 minute instrumental, but overall cool song.
  • Redundant?

In response to a previous review, I'm not sure what you mean by a "reggae feel". There's no reggae feel to this song at all. That would be neither good nor bad, however. This is a very good, original tune by the Chili Peppers and as a fan of theirs since Uplift I can tell you that there's not a single other song like it in their catalog. I love the jam in the middle. Maybe my favorite of the recent releases. Thanks for the inspiration when it's needed now more than ever. Much love.

Great song! I mean you could say its repetitive but when the redundant parts are so flawless and beautiful its hard not to like it. Still awaiting the next releases!

First off, im not a big fan of a 8 minute song because it just gets old listening to the same beats over and over but "in love dying" they mess it up at the end. I love these guys because they continue to give off a different vibe as they grow. Wasnt a big fan of the single releases after "im with you" except for Long Progression and THIS SONG

RHCP keeps pumping out the jams, smooth with a twist of funk!

Don't get me wrong, the reggae feel is VERY cool! And I love the outro :) RHCP is always great. But I can definitely see why this is a B-Side. About four minutes of the same sequence repeated over again. If this were four minutes long, it'd be fantastic. Still good, though, do buy if you're a fan!

Another amazing song that was unfortunately left off the album. Perhaps when it really came down to it, they said "yeah this doesn't quite flow with the rest of I'm With You", but hey! we get it now! Anyways, lovely song with heavy African musical influences included. Josh's progressive guitar strumming is heavenly and in some parts (mainly in the middle of this monster song) it reminds me of old Modest Mouse songs from their '90s stuff. Anthony experiments again with his voice in this song as he did in "The Sunset Sleeps" and "Hometown Gypsy", this time he may remind you of Bob Marley-esque type singing and that is A-OK with me. Chad and Flea are also pretty great in this too, Chad bangin' around on them skins and Flea layin' down a nice long bassline. Overall a very pretty song by the best band in the world!
