This shall fit right in with the rest of the family but it's missing something. Im not sure......its intense and all but that John Powell just bought the film and score together. Where are u John Powell?!! Still good score.

Saw the film last night (it's good!) - Renner is a great addition to the world and his story in this film is running parallel to the events in "Ultimatum," so brush up before you see it if you think you might get lost. Here's what I'd say about the score. I am a fan of JNH. Always have been. In fact, I own about 15 of his scores... and his music here is good, but watching the film, MAN, did I miss John Powell who for me, by now, is the beating heart of the series. I can appreciate wanting to create a different vibe sonically, but the thing is the film is of the world and FEELS of the world, so it ought to also SOUND like it's from that world. Again, I like the score. And JNH pays homage to 1 or 2 of Powell's themes by lacing it into his music subtly... but I'd have preferred Powell.

this is a good score, not a great score. moby is epic. i love how symphonic the theme of extreme ways is compared to the other bourne films. will see if the movie is up to bourne standard...

James Newton Howard's work is very different from what I normally listen to. However, he has really surprised me lately in his work. Howard has covered almost every genre with rarely any hint, parallel to his previous works. Howard has caught my attention and is quickly becoming one of my favorite composers! This is a definite buy for J.N.H. fans!!! You won't be disappointed. (Will you give yourself to this program?) J.N.H.: "Yes, sir."

While I always enjoyed the previous Bourne soundtracks, this has a more symphonic and deep vibe compared to the previous- I think it fits very well with what this movie will be. I can't wait!
