I had forgotten this song and then heard it at the grocery store and fell in love with it all over again. Hero is truly an amazing song. I was suprised that it was from David Crosby, I never knew that before today. I searched all the "Hero" songs and didn't check this one out because I thought it was impossible that he sang it....opps! One listen and you'll love this song too!

The song Hero is what makes this ablum remarkable. It truly shows how someone like Crosby who's living a terrible life can come to terms with right and wrong and maybe even God. If there wasn't any other way I would buy the album just to have that song to listen to. "Hero" is that good.
  • A fine album

This is one of those albums that slips under mainstream radar and is a gem for those willing to take the time to find it. I put this album on on the nights when I just want to sit back, relax and listen to some good music.

I was in Amsterdam in July last year, spending my last few days before moving to Chicago. As I walked into a record store with my daughter on my shoulders I bumped into a man walking out. I turned around to apologise and recognized David Crosby from the back. He was there with his wife and what appeared to be a granddaughter. It brough back memories of this album, which I played over and over again years ago in Singapore. I think it is very controlled but with an underlying tension. The melodies and harmonies are beautiful. The best song is Too Young Too Die, a tribute to fast cars and the men that drive them.
