All of their music is awesome...but until you have seen/heard them live you have nooooo idea how awesome the band and music really is. I cannot wait for a full live album. So excited!

NEEDTOBREATHE is, and always will be, my absolute favorite band. Total artistry in their music, while maintaining a positive, uplifting spirit on each album. This Live EP has been long coming. NEEDTOBREATHE's live shows are spectacular, & this EP gives you a taste of that. New twists on classic songs & stellar vocals from the one & only Bear Rinehart make this album breathtaking. I wish it could go on for much longer than 5 songs. If i close my eyes & listen, it transports me right back to the front row electricity of their shows. Highly reccomended.

I've had the privilege to see Needtobreathe live four times in the last two years, including in Houston 10/09 when the live track "Stones Under Rushing Water" was recorded for this album. That night was also the first concert that my 10 year old son had ever attended. Just told him a few minutes ago that I downloaded this album which includes a recording of the very song he got to hear live - he's blown away! We live in Austin, Tx. which is considered the "Live music capital of the world". We get to see live bands year 'round, including 100's at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Have yet to see a live band that has been more impressive! It's hard to sum up how talented they are - you just gotta see them live (or at least buy this album for a taste). Bear's voice is unforgettable, Bo's guitar skills and energy melt your face off, and the band as a whole just overflow with talent. Few bands could pull off acoustic live songs (see "Valley of Tomorrow" on this album), and I have never seen or heard a band do it as beautifully as Needtobreathe. Thank you guys and keep rockin!
  • A little disappointing. But, decent...

I am a big fan of Needtobreathe and have been since "Daylight". That being said, the "Live Horses" EP missed the mark for me. I was expecting a more 'rock' sound than 'pop' on the album. If you're a Die-hard fan of Needtobreathe, you should buy this EP. However, if you are just a casual listener, get something that you REALLY like...

I love this group and I love them even more when they are live. My favorite on this EP is Valley of Tomorrow. Would love to have a full length all acoustic album from this amazing group :)
