My absolute favorite Roberta Flack album. My wedding "First Dance" song was selected from this album (I Don't Care Who Knows, Baby I'm Yours). Wish I could see her perform these songs live!!!

I sincerely believe that Roberta Flack's voice is a heavenly gift bestowed to music lovers. Her execution on each of these tracks is absolutely flawless, and this album encompasses a full spectrum of popular music genres, each of which she masters effortlessly - from pop to rhythm & blues to jazz, and beyond, Ms. Flack proves that she is, and that she has always been, a force of nature just a cut-above her "contemporaries." Buy this album. Each and every cut on it is extraordinary. I guarantee that you will treasure this exceptionally perfect work of art.

This album marks the last of a long career Roberta had with Atlantic records and what a great way to close that chapter of her career. This cd is filled with new recordings and out-takes from her "Set The Night To Music" set which started life as a contemporary retelling of standards recorded by Nat King Cole but Natalie Cole beat Roberta to the punch with her "Unforgettable" and "Set The Night To Music" was quickly changed to the album it was with a few of the standards intact. A stand out track here is the 10 minute Stephen Bishop "It Might Be You" re-arranged as a quiet storm opus. Try the sparse opener "Let's Stay Together" absolutely gorgeous. "The Thrill Is Gone" is transformed into a funky thing and "My Romance" is stunning, reminiscent of Roberta's early days in the clubs of D.C..
