Runaway freight train rock in' and rattlin' all over the place running full-steam, somehow staying on the track!

  • One Of The Funnest Explorations Of Iggy Pop

This two disc set explores Iggy's years as "Iggy & The Stooges", then as Iggy Pop. The first disc has a lot of tracks used in the "More Power" disc, which you should look at, but has some others as well. It is very iteresting to see any Stooges outtakes from "Raw Power" because most never made it. This digs more into that with "Purple Haze". The second disc has a lot of Live stuff and Rarities (The "Lust For Life" is a must look, same as "Re-Recorded") and makes it fun rather than a must have listen. For those who like exploring the realms of Iggy Pop, this is for you. For casual fans, absolutely not. It's worth your money though. Just don't expect it to be all that you need.

  • Why the mono mixes?

"Baby" is a mono mix. Very different from the rich stereo mix on "The Idiot", and not for the better.
