I just watched an episode of Unsung and i was blown away by this song Les Fleur once again reaffirming my belief that she was one of the greatest vocalist ever. Gone too soon. I was deeply saddened when she passed.

Minnie Ripperton is top-notch! She doesn't receive all the accolades she's deserved, but I love her & have been blessed to appreciate her music. She is truly missed and is NOT FORGOTTEN!!! She's singing for God and all the angels!!!

Sublime and gorgeous. Wish more people appreciated Minnie and her contributions. Very few artists give me the chills in a good way. This album is phenomenal!
  • Appropriately perfect.

This album really tells a story of love and metaphorically tells a story of feelings through various musical instruments and Minnie's voice is the main attraction. For me to be 25 years old and have his album be in my top favorites and Minnie be one of my all time favorite artists...a blessing
  • A Fabulous Musical Experience

A bizarrely frothy, chic album concept. Its '70's, Burt Bacharachesque, Disco, smooth, perfect execution. She has much more beautiful vocal production than any soul or jazz artist of this(perhaps any) period, combined with lush, interesting, unusual accompaniments. What a gift to music. She makes Mariah Carey seem like a bloated petulent talentless nymphomaniac. Minnie Riperton forever.

I had been searching for the original LP for the longest, until a friend said why bother with the LP and to go to iTune's.....Need I say more. This album goes beyond the category of good music; its music at its finest. I truly miss Ms. Riperton........A Pure Song Goddess...Sing on!

This album will soothe your soul! I was recently introduced to Minnie Riperton (beyond the song "Loving You") on Unsung, and what a treasure! May we remember and celebrate her gift!
