Fantastic start to finish. The music on this one holds the time for a great album. It’s so fun to listen to.

This is the album that puts that stupid "lead singer for Van Halen" argument to rest. Sammy was rocking the house way back in the early 70's when Dave was trying to figure out what his diapers were for.
  • Merely okay, nice 70's hard rock

Montrose were a good band, to be sure. Ronnie Montrose was a seasoned guitar player with exceptionally good tone, and a very young Sammy Hagar delivers a very competent pre-Van Halen and solo career performance. The rhythm section is pretty solid. Montrose just don't really have anything in particular that makes their music jump out at you the way Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath or Deep Purple did. The album also starts to drag halfway through, the opening tracks such as Bad Motor Scooter are obvious highlights. It's a great record for a long drive, but it's not quite as exciting as its contemporaries.

I wish I was able to provide a good review but all of the songs never downloaded so I have no idea if they are good or not.

I can still remember when this album came out , I was 9 years old rocking to Montrose. Today I am 49 years old and still rocking out to this album. The sound of these songs and music never got old or worn out with me , and even though Montrose is no longer with us , he is just over on the other side rocking out with the other legends of rock who have crossed over. ROCK N ROLL WILL NEVER DIE!
