Shaky but interesting

Finished listening to this last night. Interesting setlist and nice transitions, particularly Throwing stones>iko iko. The jamming on Fire on the Mountain is superb.
Happy to own this album, but was put off by a few things: Jerry's vocal are very low, and his voice is frail and strained. He shines on Peggy-O, however.
Vince, may he rest in peace, had a tough time complimenting the Dead's sound on this one; too subdued with his keys (Throwing Stones) and too over the top with his singing/shouting. Iko Iko is a highlight, however.
Not an expert, but the mixing sounds all over the place on this. Phil's bass can be overwhelming at times, and jerry is almost always low. Bob sounds pretty good, though. You can really hear his nuances on this recording.
I don't usually listen to post Brent shows, and this one reminded me why. The show has an overall flat sound with the guys often sounding listless. Despite these issues, it's still a decent addition to the collection.
Nice set

This has a good set list but the vocals are way too low on the recording.
Shoddy editing

It's Brokedown Palace, not Brokendown Palace. I've seen quite a few gaffs in the naming of songs and shows. Seems like iTunes threw these up hastily and should go back and edit the collection.

Is it me or is iTunes reviewing the wrong album here in the synopsis up top?? Come on!! You can do better than that!
this is pretty exciting for 1991,1977 is overrated see 72-76

there is so much hype around 1977,sure they played great but it was repetitive setlist, the jamming was minimal compared to say 1972-1974,thats why I went to see them in the first place its just 1977 is so set in stone and did'nt drift from the condenced songs
Nice one for the 1990's
