His first album is right next to it. If you buy the first album you must buy this 1 at the same time. These albums should have been 1 double album! As a fan I was in my teens when this came out. I'm in my 40's and STILL LOVE this! TIMELESS!!! 1 word describes it all!

In conversation at a table with four four friends (one lover) the word "sycophant" enters my ears. I am reminded of "Don't Cry", in turn instilling, solidifying in me the idea to buy this great album. Since I first heard ("Prayer For the Dying" immediately comes to mind) this album in 1994 I had no idea how influenced emotionally I would be up to now by every single track. I would hug SEAL, with my very soul if I could.
  • Stellar.

I bought this album knowing "Prayer For the Dying", "Don't Cry", and "Kiss From a Rose", expecting the other songs to be just as great and I was not disappointed. Not a single song on this album sounds like less than what Seal is capable of. Every song is stellar. A few other honorable mentions for this album include songs like "Bring It On", "Dreaming in Metaphors" and "Newborn Friend", but I can't even just isolate those alone because every song is outstanding.

An classic album. I played this album for a full year pretty much every day in 1993. Every song is great.

Simply one of the best albums of the 90s. It's one of my all-time cruising CDs. Every song is great.

I grew up on this album. I'm 24 and I still know the words to every song. This was real music.
