Pet Shop Boys' is a career marked by groundbreaking innovations. I view them as serious observers who catapult great ideas into the consumer world helped by an imagination kept highly fertile inspite of the years. It is their refusal to Being Boring that keeps their output so excitiing. This song is just anothe example.

Pet Shop Boys rule. Two of these tracks are worth buying. PSB Symphonic Mix and Mark Reeder's Stuck in the 80's mix. The other two mixes are a bit boring. The radio edit, which is sold separately, is the best though.
  • Great cover song!

PSB did a great job on this track and finding someone who sounds just like the original singer of The Passions, Barbara Gogan!!! I loved original back in the late 80's and now the remixes of Sam Taylor-Wood's version are amazing! Glad to hear so many of my old faves being remade!! PSB always satisfy too!
  • Love the remixes, but is there a problem with the Jurgen Paape version?

Am I the only one who has a download that "skips" at 2:10? The track progresses through to 5:08, but it's the same lines ("I didn't care; it really moved me") being sung over and over for the last three minutes.
  • Old Skool Pet Shop Boys Disco Extravaganza!!!

25 year deejay here. I played Pet Shop Boys back in the 1980s. Loved them then. Still love them now. This single is sung by Sam Taylor-Wood with backing vocals by Neil Tennant and it is COOOOOOL! Very disco from a PSB perspective. Great for after hours in a dark sleezy night club. This is a must for Pet Shop Boys fans. Love it. Love it!!!
