Haro (below) doesn't know this band as I can tell from his comments. If you don't know DCFC don't try to analyze, just enjoy and keep it too yourself. However if you do....I love Brothers on a hotel bed and my only complaint about this version is that it should carry the beat longer, it sounds so good! The rest of the EP is standard DCFC. New album will be great i believe.

this album is not by far their best album but it still has some great tracks and is definitly worth checking out and listning to! Its also nice that they included "I will possess your heart" the live version because it is one of their more popular songs and live songs always have a bit of personal touches to them that studio recorded and edited dont! good job with this album death cab for cutie!

Great live album, death cab seems to be one of those bands who incredible allready, seem to get that special something live, if you want a live album from these guys $4 is a great offer
  • ITS PERFECT! But don't buy it.

It sounds VERY close to what they sell as Cd's (which implies much editing to the voice and retakes) , so although they have definately proved they would be incredible live, it isn't worth it to buy the same thing.
  • Is this what happened

to Ben Gibbard's voice? True, as people grow older, it loses the indie charm, such as his voice with this band. This does not sound like the true mellow band from the late 90s. Good live versions, but DCFC lost their indie charm, definitely...

Death Cab for Cutie is my favorite band, so naturally I see them every time they come to Vegas. It's so cool that there's now a permanent record of a show that I was at! Anyway, the band is amazing live; they have almost a different energy or something than on their albums - this one is definitely worth getting.

i prefer this version of Photobooth, than the original, the piano, and you don?t hear that much difference in his voice.
