  • Why ?

Listen carefully so Stephen Stills…..even David's voice is worn. I love this group, have followed them since their evolving, and have purchased everything they have collectively and individually recorded or performed…..but this, is an embarrassment. If I handed this to someone who'd never heard them before, I would loose all credibility as a musician or someone who knows great music. Stills is having trouble with his speech, and the harmonies are not so tight. Bad day….then don't sell it. My last concert, which was declared my last after the highjacking of the stage with more political positioning and ranting…..and as any of you CSNY fans know…..these tickets are expensive. So, I'll continue to listen to their great works, enjoy playing and covering their creative and solid good music, and recommend NOBODY purchase this recording.

Last Night before a packed crowd, they played alot of songs from this album Crosby said, "Don't let the one with the biggest TV budget win." This Album was ahead of its time. GOOD SHOW!
  • Impeach the President?

    1
    By Old Time Radio Rocks
Ah yes: Because the president after this one has done such a remarkable job: 8-10% unemployment, an additional $6 trillion added to the national debt- more by this one president in a scant 3 years than hitherto all the presidents combined, a $1 trillion "stimulus" spent on things like studying the mating habits of spider monkeys and at a cost to the taxpayer of $1 lillion or more per job, an "investment" in a solar energy company that was already on its way to bankruptcy to the tune of half a billion dollars... Shall I continue? I always liked CSNY. But my question is: When do we get a musician with the courage to remind us of the tyranny and pure folly of big government ?

Bunch of aging hippies. Neil: Maybe you should relook at the lyrics for "Let's Impeach the President" again and I bet you would find they would apply much more to our current President.
  • It's better to burn out than it is to rust...

What happened to the passion of Neil Young and CSN? Political ideology aside, this is an incredibly lame album. It seems as though the CSNY express is rusting out and running on fumes. Sad.
  • After 40 years of support- this is what we get?

I have seen every csn, csny, and "y" tour for decades- spent tens of thousands on tickets, concessions, travel, etc...and saw 2 shows on the 06' tour. It's been 40 years since 4-way street. Do the fans deserve to hear some classics that are not 4 decades old? I am a republican but respect thier views and thier passion. Every American is entitled to thier opinions and I enjoyed all thier shows past and present. C'mon guys- the Y2K shows were fantastic, the 2002 tour was even better, and we have nothing from those shows? Finally a live album and this is what we get?

This album is a great reflection of the sixties protest music which has been lost in the 21st century. We should use the arts and our intellect to protest and pressure the people running our society. This is a great expressions of that American tradition. Plus the songs sound really groovy too.

This album totally rocks and the movie had me awestruck (not easily done I might add). I can't remember the last time music made me FEEL anything - wow! I don't know if I can stand all of the HOPE I'm feeling these days - it's been a very long and lonely 8 yrs!!
