It's "very average" (from my limited "test" (3 in days of time)), as people say. While many interesting segments exist within the songs, most of them are not in any
coherent, good song. There's an assortment of underlying themes that seem randomly thrown into
many songs, and several times they culminate by cutting in abruptly (ex.: Agent of Chaos: 4:42)...it feels choppy. A major one is The Joker's signature, the set of screeches, they aren't appealing and they're everywhere. The album's themes, underlying or not, get redundant and the songs have parts that are too similar to other songs' parts. Lots of the songs are comprised of badness only. Some are good, from my experience, I've found 3 that are good: A Dark Knight (which is a smooth composition of many of the elements found in the entirety of the "score"), Watch the World Burn, and Aggressive Expansion. The music can also be easily annoying, stressful. It's because of the style, the "high strings" and high tensity. I'm disappointed by the album. The Dark Knight Rises has a much better album.
