    After experiencing Preservation Hall for the second time in forty years, and finding it just as inspirational, I have realized the truth. Jazz and its heritage is a tap root, the core of the spoken note. The "ditties" that my grandfather tapped his shoe to in the 40's and 50's are forever echoing through the streets (not Bourbon, but ON the streets) of New Orleans and on this album. The people playing their soul for a buck or twenty; that's the talent that sparkles.

    As a sax player myself i think that this album is great and amazing. Music that once was heard all over the nation to music that is know only rarely heard. This music realy brightens my day when i hear terrible music like soldier boy and jonas brother, it help remind me that their is good music out their and no im not a old man im 16.
