Fix this , Johnny B. Goode is the penultimate song on this album. At its conclusion Elvis introduces And I Love You So, but then it abruptly plays What’d I Say, instead of And I Love You So. πŸ˜‘πŸ˜ πŸ‘Ώ

I have loved Elvis since I was 4 years old. I am almost 62 now. Yes, I am biased towards Elvis. He was obviously in poor health at the time of this concert. But, he sounds great. Elvis was giving it all he had. Another reviewer said it was sad that Elvis had to read the words to My Way during this concert. I saw Elvis in concert in Birmingham, AL in December, 1976. That was a wonderful concert! Elvis was in top form with no signs of health problems. He read some of the words to My Way as he sang it during that concert. That was part of the show and it was part of the show in this concert. I have just now purchased this album because I thought it might not be available always. I don’t know why I thought that, but I did. I have listened to segments of this album many times over the years. It makes me very sad that this was Elvis’s last album. I could not watch the concert special in Oct. 1977. I knew I would cry like a baby through it. God bless Elvis. Love him still as much as when I was a little bitty girl.

He did a pretty darn good cover of the Olivia Newton-John hit If You Love Me Let Me Know. It would have been nice to hear them sing this song together.
  • Heavily Edited

This version (8/15/18) is heavily edited from the original version by ITunes. The closing by Vernon Presley has been EDITED OUT!

The sound quality needs to be remastered, this is 1977 sound!! I'd wait until they remaster this album before buying. It's a great live album, and includes the complete 1977 CBS-TV Special. Elvis was overweight at the end but still could sing better than ever! It went to #5 on Billboard album chart, and sold 1,500,000 copies. The "My Way" 45rpm from this album went to #22 on the Hot100, and sold a cool million copies. Best songs: How Great Thou Art, Hurt, My Way, Hawaiian Wedding Song, And I Love You So

This concert was great. It's a step back in time to hear Elvis only 6 weeks before his death. The sound quality is excellent and the mans voice is top notch. Elvis had great success with live albums in the seventies. As far as some of the comments here it sounds about right coming from uneducated individuals about Elvis. He didn't drink. As far as drug use? That's old news. Who cares. I wonder if these guys said that about the other singers in their collection. Probably not.
  • Elvis - As We Knew Him

His last concert album! Despite his health was getting the best of him, he still put every effort in his performance and seeing the concert on tv, it was obvious that his time was near. His voice was still in full swing when he belt out the openning song (See, See Rider) and it kinda started him. The volume in his speakers above him was a little loud! He showed during his concert in some of his songs that he still can muster his voice in Hound Dog and Jail House Rock that would make the venue reverberate. And, probably still is after all these years! I hope that someday, RCA and the Elvis Estate would get together and remaster this Album and put the songs in this concert in order that he sang and make it a complete concert (Of his last performance). No editing, no add-ons, just in his natural state...As we remembered him. His light is still shinning, even in Heaven. As Elvis would always say: "Until we meet you again, May God Bless You, Adios!"
