This music is so peaceful and soft. I fall asleep to it all the time and I repeat the first two songs (the only ones I have) a number of times to help me sleep. As someone else mentioned, it takes you to a whole new place and you are away from your troubles for a few minutes. It's like your own secret spot. I have many troubles and this music seems to lift them and carry them far away. Love it. When I was at my school a few years ago, my teacher played this music all the time. I loved it, and later purchased the first two songs. I played it for another student and she purchased them too. Shepherd Moons is so beautiful. I will always be a big fan of these songs and the songs as well. Thank you all for reading this. I'd give it 99999 stars if I could. Everyone should listen to this. Bye for now and happy listening

We buried our brother today. The Chaplain played How Can I Keep From Singing. After hearing that song, I had purchase it, along with the whole album. The meaning has restored my faith in our Lord. Even though she didn't write the original lyrics, I want to say thank you for the publication of this song. God bless you.

I visited San Diego recently, and while I was in a little art gallery/shop with my mom, I commented that the music on the CD player was very soothing. The artist said it was Enya. I had heard of her, but didn't know her music that well. I wondered if it could relax me and help me sleep (I have terrible anxiety that gets worse at night). After coming back home, my mom said she had found an Enya CD among her collection. It was this one, Shepherd Moons! I've been playing it the last few nights, and it really is calming. Falling asleep to this album feels like being enveloped in a cozy cocoon. I especially love Caribbean Blue and How Do I Keep On Singing?

When I bought the Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack, I loved Aniron and May it be. Those were the first songs I had ever heard of Enya. So, one day as I was in the basement, I noticed a pile of my parents' old 70's and 80's Cds. I looked through a few of them, and then I saw this CD. "Enya: Shepherd Moons." I remembered the LOTR music, so I took the CD with me when I left the basement. I gave it a try. I put it onto my iPod, and played it. I was amazed! It had a distinct 80's sound, but not in a bad way. It was so peaceful, and beautiful, and yet exciting and fun. So, now I listen to it during the day, and I play it at night while I go to sleep. I love Enya, even though I'm only a teen! This is a great album!!!!! (I even learned how to play a few of them on the piano) Lothlorien and book of days are my favorites. I recommend this album to everybody and anybody!!!! : )
