For those that just want Sinnerman, look for it elsewhere. Quit badmouthing this album simply because you have to buy the album to get it. That song is not the focus of the album. I love all the music of this album! It makes the movie even more awesome. Bill Conti is brilliant!

I like this version of Sinnerman; it's disappointing not being able to purchase it.

I agree that this is a pretty good album even though Nina Simone isn't on here. (I have her anthology already.) However, I want more and that includes the pieces by Jamshied Sharifi and more importantly Chico O'Farrill's Afro-Cuban Orchestra rendition of Tango Ballad from Three Penny Opera. The renditions they did for the movie are not to be found anywhere on itunes.
  • Love The Soundtrack!

I love the soundtrack Nina Simone's song is awesome (although ashame that you can't buy it separately) and the musical score is great, but there is one song missing...the Tango Ballad, where is that on the soundtrack?? The start of their romance with that dance said volume's and made you actually feel the attraction between them! I love that song and would love to find out how to get it since it's not on the soundtrack...is there anyway I could receive that one??

If iTunes keeps pulling this "lets put the most popular and memorable song in the album only!" crap I'll just keep pirating my stuff from other sources, screw you too iTunes; I'd like to buy the song and give props to the artist but you just have to be a jerk about it, don't you?
  • worth it, mostly

Five stars for "Sinnerman", four stars for Bill Conti's work on the album (at least give it a quick listen, it's biggest fault is that each piece isn't long enough), one star for the copyright holders that forced the vendors to only sell Sinnerman as part of the entire album.

I bought the Hit 3 Pack of Nina Simone with "Sinnerman" and it is amazing! Skip the pricey soundtrack, the Hit Pack is only 2.50! Thanks SomnoLise
  • Sinnerman Plus others = Great album

Ok granted it is a soundtrack, and like most soundtracks there are a lot of songs that are purely for the movie. However, if you happen to like this movie (as much as I do), then it's worth the $9.99. Sinnerman is the Best song on the album, however I agree that Windmills of your Mind, Caban la Ka Kratchie, and Everything is Never Quite Enough are fantastic songs as well (played during wonderful parts of the movie). I have to agree with "The Crazy Woodland Elf" (see below).
