This Album is very exciting, it is short but only because it isnt a full record, its songs that did not make anthem's final cut. I find this album quite entertaining because it is like there are two different sections of anthem. the clean one, and the bad one. this being the vulgar one. i just thought it was funny that all of the songs on anthem dont swear and all of the ones that couldnt get on it did... must have somethin to do with the label. heheh uh so anyway. this really does remind me of what would happen if u mixed losing streak and anthem together... you would get a mature sounding CD with an true overload of violent and vulgar music, with unexpectedly good horn parts. basically what im saying is that its a little too underrated, these songs deserve more than just being B sides. in fact just because its called B sides i sometimes seem to pass it up or not listen to it when i should. its a good buy for a Less Than Jake fan

I Love Less Than Jake They Are My Absolute Favorite Band. I've Been Listening To Them Since I Was Like 8 Years Old So That Was like..8 years ago (hehe). And I'd Like To Say That I Think B Is For B-Sides Has Some Of The Best Songs By Them (notice i said "some" not "all").I Especially Like A.S.A.O.K.

I liked this album a bunch, but it had some problems. I'm very glad that they kept the unused songs from Anthem for a seperate cd, because with those lyrics, Anthem may have gotten the explicit content sticker, which would have kept younger, up and coming LTJ fans out of an AMAZING ALBUM! But this album, like i've mentioned in other LTJ reviews, is past the line of old LTJ (that line being Borders & Boundaries), this has their new sound. They once again kept enough horn to satisfy the fans, but you can tell every album after B&B, that the horn slowly diminished. Still the lyrics in this album are fun, the horn (like in Sleep It Off) and the guitar (like in National Anthem and Robots 1, Humans 0) were amazing, and Chris and Roger keep pulling off the switching of the main vocals, both being able to sing perfectly for the genre. I guess what bothers me about this is that it was the last album before In With The Out Crowd, which itself is a big loogie in the face of LTJ fans. But this album was great, and.....awesome cover art.

Wow, who thought that an album full of songs that weren't considered good enough to go on a regular album would end up being as good as, if not better than, the album that the songs were set to go on. If you don't have B is for B-Sides, get it! It's possibly better than Anthem. It's at least just as good.

B is for B-Sides is a solid album that surpasses Anthem in more than a few ways. Don't get me wrong, I liked Anthem just fine, but this album is harder and uses the horn section well. As it is Less Than Jake, the lyrics center around the same subjects as older albums, but each song manages to stay fresh. It's not perfect, but if you're debating whether or not you should buy it (and you already have a few LTJ cds), I'd say go ahead. If you're just now starting to listen to LTJ, go buy Hello Rockview first.

Anthem was a excellent cd, but this one has it beat. much more like the older LTJ material with a more refined sound. as usual, Vinnie breaks it all down lyrically, especially in "National Anthem" which has got to be one of the most direct songs (possibly the only!) about the average american's issues with debt. i almost break down every time i sing along with it! just another perfect album you come to expect from LTJ

This Album is 27 minutes long. Pick and choose a couple songs that sound good that you can hear previews for free and download em. This CD isnt that great anyway, i wouldnt recomend it waisting the money.
