Apt. Is a global hit that will be remembered generations from now from the U.S to Korea. The main singles including apt, number one girl and toxic till the end are all really catchy and tell a story a give call backs to that early 00s pop we all miss. As for the rest of the tracks they all cohesively tell a story of heart break we all feel at some point with more call backs to even early 90s pop / pop punk both of which suit rosés versatile sweet voice. Would love to see what comes from her later in her solo career. As for non singles I’d recommend dance all night , drinks or coffee, and 3am that truly highlight the mood of the album after and between heart break and toxic relationships. I think people prefer upbeat songs when a idol releases music but the slow songs without a doubt is what gained her more fans globally and was true to her for sure making the album about loss. Overall, strong first full album.
